Glass Block Install Instruction

Use one glass block spacer in each corner of glass block. Depending on your glass block wall design, you may need:

9 spacers for 4 blocks

12 spacers for 6 blocks

15 spacers for 8 blocks

20 spacers for 12 blocks

42 spacers for 30 blocks

1.Cut legs and tabs off spacer to fit application

L-spacer(used for corners of wall)

--remove both tabs and two legs from each side

T-spacer(used against jamb and header)

--remove both tabs and legs

2. Apply glass block mortar/grout premix to stall first, then to vertical side of block.

Set glass block against spacer and repeat this step untill job is finished.

3. Smooth joins and clean up with wet clean cloth before mortar completely sets.

4. Twist off all tabs after mortar completely sets.

5. Apply joint mortar.

Glass block spacers are also ideal for curved glass block walls. Simply establish your curve and make sure the edges of the glass blocks are tight against the vertical arms of the spacer on the inside of the curve.
