Quartz sand filter material is the most common form of filter materials, it is used widely, it can be used

for the purification of drinking water and industrial production water and various pool of fractal ordinary

fast filter and sewage filters, water mechanical filter.

Our factory adopted the natural quality quartz deposit as raw material, the mechanical broken, rolling

pressure grinding, washed screening, drying screening, vibration classification and so on a series of

new producing craft, and effectively protect the natural structure, thus comprised extend the filter

material use cycle. It has filter speed fast, filtering effect is good, stable discharging water, not plug,

not agglomeration. The use period is longer than sea sand (1-2 cycles).

Applicable scope

Refined quartz sand filter material suitable for living and drinking water filtering and other water

purification processing. More suited for petroleum, chemical, mining, metallurgical, thermoelectric,

papermaking, printing, dyeing, tanning, food and so on the production water prophase of treatment

and water treatment, and sewage recycle.

Technical requirements

1) Mechanical strength, broken rate and wear rate should not greater than 1.5% sum (percentage by

weight plan).

2) Chemical stability and contains no visible mud, mica and impurities, water filter material leaching

solution does not contain poisonous and harmful substances.

3) Quartz density should be not less than 2.55 g/cm3. Use of density (have special requirement except).

4) Quartz sand filter material of burning weight loss should not greater than 0.7%, hydrochloric acid

soluble does not rate should be greater than 1.5% (standard care).

5) Should not be more than 1%, hydraulic 2g/cm3 density is less than the light material content should

be greater than 0.2% (standard care).
