thermal insulation material

Thermal insulation material is made from calcium silicate, which has thermal preservation and insulation properties, can resist high temperatureup to 1000 celcius degree. It is white, asbestos free, rigid.

Composition: xonotolite, reinforced fiber, no asbestos.

The thermal insulation is manufactured and sold inthree different forms: preformed block, preformed pipe, and board.

Advantage: if you think your wanted one is complex in shape, need to be made based on the drawings. Turn to us!

property

  1. superior thermal insulation property (relatively flat thermal conductivity curve)

  2. refractory , having a high melting point, resistant to melting. Refractory materials are often used to line the interior of industrial furnaces.
  3. extremely high compressive strength, and high flexural strength, could withstand considerable physical abuse without loss of insulating efficiency.

  4. a Class A rating for Flame Spread/Smoke Developed, and isnoncombustible(ASTM E136),

  5. “green”-asbestos free

  6. high-temperature (up to 1100 C) structural integrity

  7. corrosion inhibition.

  8. a major contributor to conservation of energy, energy efficient.

  9. good maintainance of those properties over time up to its classified temperature (superior durability)

  10. no reports of calcium silicate's being hazardous or harmful to humans

(ASTM) C533Yes, we can!

American Society for Testing and Materials(ASTM) C533

Type I: maximum-use temperature of 1,200°F(649°C),maximum density:15 pounds per cubic foot (lbs/ft3) (240kg/m³)or 22 lbs/ft3 (352kg/m³)

Type II: 700°F (927°C)and maximum density of 22 lbs/ft3 (352kg/m³)

Both types:Compressive strength is greater than 100 pounds per square inch (psi) (688 kPa), at a 5-percent deformation.Flexural strength is greater than 50 psi (344 kPa). The maximum linear shrinkage: only 2 percent.

Both the flame spread and smoke developed index are 0 per ASTM E84.Maximum allowable mass loss values: 20%and 40% after tumbling for 10 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively, demonstrating its resistance to breakage.

Applications

Our thermal insulation materials insulateprocess and laboratory kilns and furnaces, thermal analytical instruments, and specialty applications, high-temperaturepipe and equipmentin industrial facilities, such asoil refineries, steel mill, glass & ceramic plant, petrochemical plants, power plants, steam distribution lines, chemical plants, refineries.
