Insulated Glass description

Insulated glass is composed of two or more glass sheets that are separated by aluminum spaces, filled with dry air or other gases, and then adhered together by elastic sealants. Two glass sheets are separated with an aluminum spacer filled with desiccant and then assembled by application of butyl and silicone.

Features

Thermal Performance
By filling with dry air or inertia gas, such as argon, heat transfer coefficient K value of insulated glass can be effec tively reduced for energy conservation, therefore to maintain a comfortable temperature both in winter and summer.

Sound Insulation

Insulated glass has excellent sound insulating performance, it is an ideal glass type to effectively reduce noise. It can achieve even better sound insulating effect if filled with inertia gas.

Anti-dew Under Low Temperature
Filled with desiccant, insulated glass can effectively absorb the vapor both in the hollow and from outside, therefore to ensure dryness of interspace for dew resistance .
