EMULZER JOINT INSULATION TAPE 120/70 (ELASTIC JOINT TAPE FOR INSULATION)
DESCRIPTION:
Emulzer JOINT INSULATION TAPE, is thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) based, polyester mesh supported, elastic joint tape used in insulation of construction and expansion joints .
USING AREAS:
• Used in bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, terraces and balconies, under ceramic applications and wall/floor joints
• Unstabilized joints
• Reinforced concrete or corners of pre-cast roof gutters and joints
• Pipe crossings,
• To repair cracks in pools , corner interactions and dilatations.
• To repair cracks in plaster and screed,
SURFACE PREPARATION
Joint surfaces must be clean and dry. Oil, grease,dust and particles must be completely cleaned.
EMULSEAL PU MASTIK 40 should be applied to corner joints in order to avoid damages from tape.
Surface preparation must be made according to the type of insulation material to be used (see: the relevant product technical bulletin).
APPLICATION:
After applying the isolation materials first coat, EMULZER JOINT INSULATION TAPE’s side flanks placed on the surface while the surface is still wet. Tape lightly pressed with trowel or brush into isolation material. While applying second coat , tape should be covered up with insulation material.
Avoid the contact of insulation material from tape’s rubber part.
