APPLICATION
The substrate must be dry, clean and stable without any remnants or materials, like plasters, dust, paints, greases, etc. The bag content should be mixed with clean water (almost 8.25 It/bag/25kg) with an electric mixer with low revolutions, is order to achieve a homogenous (without lumps) mixture with desired consistency. The mixture can be used after five minutes. It is to apply a metallic, stainless steel, spatula or featheredge, depending on the surface area and the type of demanded repairing work where the SA 824 has to be applied. In case of large, flat surfaces (as fair faces concrete surfaces, or plastered walls) the mixing procedure can be made using modern mixing machines with suitable rotor and stator devises. In this case we apply the mixture directly from the mixing machine on the wall surface and leveling afterwards with a metallic, stainless steel featheredge while for final smoothing results a spatula can be used. After the covered surface has been dried well,
Can be sanded by hand or mechanically and is ready for paint.
The application of SA 824 is not recommended during extreme climatic conditions (temperatures less than 5°C or greater than 35°C), strong wind, rain, direct sunshine, etc. as well as on fresh plastered surfaces. The fresh applied surfaces should be protected for the next hours from extreme temperature changes. In case the outdoor temperature is high and the substratum too much or too less absorptive must be carefully pre treated. Pre treatment is also required in case of gypsum or cement boards.

  Substrate requirement

  The substrate should be sound, dry, flat, clean and durable

  · Clean the substrate until free from dust, oil, or any other stains

  · When high temperature season or dry substrate, substrate should be wet one day before

  Application

  · Put 8.25 liters clean water in a bucket. Gradually add one bag (25 kg) of powder into water

  · Mix properly until homogeneous and lump-free

  · Leave the product for 5~10 minutes. Then mix the second time for 1~2 minutes

  · Apply the 1st coat of product onto the substrate. When the finish is dry, apply the 2nd coat. Each thickness is about 0.5 ~0.6 mm

  · Ensure a flat, smooth and pinhole free coating

  · Normally, after 24 hours (depend on weather and substrate), polish the surface

  After that, apply the finish coating
