The gearmotors in the SPIN series have been designed to automate all types of counterweight up-and-over doors.
Common features are: electromechanical gear motor. The gearmotor works extremely quietly and linearly and features a timed courtesy light. Irreversible motor. The motor is irreversible and blocks the overhead door closed without the need of additional latches. The gearmotor is fitted with a simple release device for manual manoeuvres.
12 V version: continues to work even during power failures thanks to the optional 12 Vdc rechargeable battery. The 12 V model is equipped with an Encoder, a particular revs measurement system that permits the gearmotor to rapidly manoeuvre the overhead door and give it a smooth approach in the final closure stage, thereby eliminating noisy impacts and bouncing.
230 V version: semi-intensive use, the gearmotor is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker. Anti-crushing is ensured by a clutch on the electrical control panel. Mod. SPINF, however, has no electrical panel for application with mod. SPINQRF.
